Generator/dynamo bushing replacement

I have a new (soaked in warm oil) bushing. I could use some sage advice for removing the old one. I also need to remove my damaged armature. I am hoping to press it out without removing the riveted bearing enclosure. This is an early model gen. with tach. drive.

For pulling bronze pilot bushings I have always used tap to get some thread's started in them then screwed a bolt in and pried them out. Would try the same trick on that gen bushing.

Kurt.
