General Question about bribes

Offline
Basil,

From the rules

"Also, once three officials have turned you down, you will be disqualified from the rest of the race and will retain whatever score you have at that time."

Does this mean that you could possibly bribe more than three times? For example bribe twice and win, then it would take three losses to get disqualified.

Sorry if that isn't clear, but it sounds like you generally have the idea. There isn't a limit on the number of bribes you can make, as long as you win the bribes. But as soon as you loose 3 bribes, you are done. So you could have won 7 bribes and lost 2 and keep playing. But if you bribe again, and loose, that would be your third lost bribe and the game would be over for you.

Thanx Basil,

that is how i understood it
