Does anyone besides me read some of these posts and just sit an shake their head?
I sit in disbelief at some a tha hair splittin` goin` on.
Someone would think we are building nuclear reactors hereabouts.
Keepin` an L.B.C. in perfect tune and timed exactly dead on could be considered a lifetime career opportunity.{you could work at it on a daily basis and never accomplish the task at hand for any specific length of time.}
I hardly think the greatest of detail was priority #1 on tha agenda of the assemblers of these cars.
i`m inclined to think it was more like get em built reasonably well get em on tha boat and ship em off to the Americans.
Not complaining here mind ya I just find it amusing at times.
 
aweman, i know what ya mean!, sounds like the conversation i once overheard between two guys that were building the space shuttle... :jester:

I figure everyone enjoys different parts of this hobby. For some, that is figuring out just how it was done back then (even above and beyond what was done on the assembly lines all the times). All good fun.
