Every first Tuesday of the month, The Gearheads here on Oahu(more than just LBC owners) gather at the Waikiki Yacht Club for a luncheon. Conversation, a video and a good luncheon is enjoyed by all.

Today we enjoyed a special treat as John Sprinzel came over from Molokai and regaled us with some of his past exploits.

He was one of the founders of Speedwell. Hired Graham Hill from Lotus....
 
Great guy,interesting speaker.He was in Eureka
a few years back,for a Healey convention.
I drove my MKII Cortina by him on the way out-
-he gave me two 'Thumbs up".Made my day.I found out
later that he raced Cortinas.
