Does anyone have a picture of the gear box cover they can post? Modifications to cover by previous body man don't seem right, should there be wings where the cover bolts to the firewall?

Thanks,
Auggie

Aloha Auggie,

If you are asking about the sheet metal cover over the gear box in a TR3, yes there should be a flange at the front with holes to bolt it to the fire wall.

hope this helps...

Tr3aguy,

Is the right side that cannot be seen the same as the picture of the left side?

Thanks,
Auggie

JP will have a better answer, but as I recall on the starter side the flange at the firewall is different - there is no flange where the starter bumps out. At least that's what I think without looking at it.
