I own a 1958 Morris Minor 1000, currently under restoration. I'm doing almost all the work myself. So far, I've got it mechanically sound, but have yet to seriously start on the bodywork, which requires surface rust stripping/repainting. The plan is to have it ready for our local Morris Club show day which is in October 2007.

This site looks interesting - lots of good knowledge - glad to be here!

G'day mate! Bonzers! I loved my little 1000 - do you have photos?

Welcome in. Appears you're comfortable enuff with the mechanicals! Nice work under-bonnet. You're comin' into summer so the coachwork is now priority, right?

Lookin' forward to watching your progress. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/savewave.gif

G'day Hagar
from the west coast. 3 of my friends owned Morris's when we were in high school, and subsequently drove then to death. Had loads of fun with them.
I now own a Triumph TR6 and glean a fair bit of useful info from this forum, so enjoy.
Regards
Craig
