Gawd, I hate painting

Don't think SWMBO would like that. It is a division of my trade!!

Though I must admit ,I am hiring a friend to shoot all the frames and lines and my ceilings soon.

I love painting.........until I have to do it! :wall:

Pour the paint in a 5 gallon bucket, stick the whole roller in and beat the excess out using the hang tabs on the end of the handle by pushing it in and out the bucket hitting the tab against the top of the bucket. As you pick it up, flip it over to the other side and make your first roll UP. This is enough paint to do two roller wide from floor to a 9'ceiling. Did it for a living. Don't use a pan, you send as much time painting the pan as you do the wall....unless you want to paint the pan.

Billy, I wear white bib overalls for a living. Not a painter but I've rolled more walls than most people alive.

I'd hang a roller screen in that bucket first. Not that I admit to knowing how to paint. [Or hoe, or dig, or use a sledge, operate a wheelbarrow, hang insulation, etc. --elrey

Most of my "teachers" never used em.
I do with paint, not with my product I work with though

Hire---a---painter, like I do.

Yeah, but that would be like pulling teeth. :hammer: :jester:

I am quite good at "pulling" teeth. (We in the trade prefer to call it extractions, we get more money that way.)

That said, painting is an art. You must get in the mood and tackle one room at a time. Sometimes, painting naked helps.

It is a Zen thing.......

Some people don't need a painter..........................

( I don't think that sentence needs a comma either  )

Then what's the problem? Should be a piece of cake. What do you do if you don't mind my asking?
