Oil Pressure and Vacuum (Boost) Gauges installed

Vacuum was a cinch! Just a quick trip down to ACE Hardware and I had all the perfect fittings! Simple as cutting the hose, installing the T fitting, and mounting the gauge! EASY and pain free!

The Oil pressure gauge, on the other hand, didn't go quite so smoothly. Again I found all the 1/8" NPT fittings and so on that I needed at ACE. When I tightened down the last and final Tube, Hex Nut, and Ferrule, on to the Engine Fitting... the Engine Fitting snapped in half. I wasn't any more than maybe 5 inch pounds on force on the Hex Nut at the time, so it seems to me like it would have broken while driving later. I guess it was good to find out now! A quick customer service call to Actron (the guys who supply the Sunpro parts) and I got an entire new gauge and everything overnighted, and all I was asking for was to purchase a new fitting... but they saw it as a warranty replacement
