General Tech Gauge Dust Reduction

For such a common problem (and the effort/cost needed to resolve), I'm surprised not to find much info on helping to reduce the dust intrusion. Has anyone come up with some creative solutions for helping to keep the dust level down? Would sealing around the outside of each gauge housing potentially cause condensation issues? Or is it more of an issue with just about anything you could seal with that would still allow light to come through would fail anyway making the result negligible?

I had a whole thread on it...but I guess that was 10 years ago! I used translucent tape around all the holes. No more dust problems.

Voila!

I did read this thread but must have missed the part about the tape. I’ll revisit. Thank you!

It would be easy to miss, as the thread was like, a mile long, LOL. I'm amazed you found it so fast, Nutmeg!
