As most of you know,
The sweater she was wearing and the fact that she did not ground herself to the car prior to touching the pump handle probably caused the fatal static spark.
She is actually one of the lucky ones as most pull the nozzle out and do not disengage the auto shut off. They usually spray the flaming gas out all over themselves and the car.
