I recently helped a friend of mine get her 1976 MGB running after sitting for 2 years. It is running rough, and when initially started we had gasoline running (shooting) out of a small tube toward the bottom of the front carb (no gas running from the rear). I let the car warm up, and cleaned the outside of the carb and throttle body with carb cleaner and it seems to have stopped, but I am concerned about it....possibly a stuck needle valve or float?? Should I rebuild the carb(s)?? Any insight would help. Thanks!!
