Several weeks ago we were discussing songs we like to listen to while cruising along in our favorite car/s. I just remembered about a song by this band. (Thread title).
Andrew Mace is given credit along with several other Triumph owners. How many of these people are BCF members?
Andrew, which car is yours on the cover?
Back to the song. One of the band members placed a recording of his TR3 running through the gears as an intro to the song. Of course the song is about his car and sung with a Beach Boys riff.
Excellent tune. The CD was available many years ago at the TRF Summer Party. Who knows, they may still have a few in stock. If not, don't expect a backorder.
The band describes themselves as "Hendrix meets the Beach Boys".

Buckeye Triumphs Newsletter see pages 16-17.

Seller gives his name and contact details. Computer file was then available. No idea whether it still is, or if the contact is still good. Might be interesting to see....

Wow, flashback time. Whoa. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

I remember Jared contacting me, and I did end up with a copy of the CD. But I can't now remember WHY or HOW I was involved, except possibly I was asked for permission to use a photo that was on the VTR site or something like that (I was VTR President at the time).

Although I do have two TR3As (neither of which has seen a public road under its own power since the mid-1970s), neither is featured on the CD cover.

Possibly a post over on the (ahem, "competition") triumphs@autox.team.net e-mail list would jog some more memories?
