Spent the afternoon in the garage which I needed
i rebuilt a Qjet and did a bunch of tweaks to it awhile back been sitting on the bench waiting....
Today I installed it on the truckster , changed out a sticky thermostat and fired it up started rite up. But forgot I borrowed my vac gauge and flex driver to a buddy so no tuning on that today!

so attention turned to the bugeye ,
I modifed my canister oil filter housing years ago to work with a spin on worked ok but it tends to leak unless it tighten really tight.
changed it out for a spin on housing I found at Mini Sport UK. for 22 dollars nice...
works perfect didn't even have tweek the oil line!
also changed the oil relief valve and spring.
first I removed the old spring left the old one in the hole and gave it a wrap with a punch and hammer.
then put in the new and new spring all good!
time for beer relaxing .
