Had a leaking front right Caliper after I replaced my rotors (early A type w/11 inch rotors)...probably pinched the seal or pushed dirt into the seal when pushing the pistons in for clearance.
Anyway, the Big One supplier has only aftermarket exterior/Interior seals and they look different but so far are working well.
The exterior seal is basically the same but constructed diff that the Girling seal. It is working fine though.
I'd read somewhere that green pads work well for polishing the pistons...they don't work well they work GREAT.
All of the wear markings came off of the pistons (no pitting)and they looked brand new. I can't imagine green pads taking anything of significane off the circumference with finger pressure but they sure did polish up nicely.
PITA getting the pistons back in with finger pressure and new seals but patience, brake fluid as lube, and some finesse gets them in.
