This site has the ability to compare .09" and .1" SU needles.

In addition, Burlen sells a software: 'WinSU' which will compare those sizes plus the .125" (HD8) needles.

My friend and I are looking into new needles as we've installed K&N exhaust gas sensors and discovered our cars run rich all the time. Would like to lean up the cruise only and get > 16mpg on the road.
 
If you lean up your BN6 properly, you should be getting at least 20 to 22 mpg on the highway, if not better.
 
See my recent post about putting my car on the dyno today. I got 22 mpg on the way home.
