I guess my horn and radio were on the same fuse and the radio took them both out. I found the fuse that blew in the fuse box beside the master cylinder but I cannot read the size. I tried a few different ones (5 amps on up) and they blew out immediately and one 30 amp shattered!

Any idea what the amperage is? Is it some crazy British fuse that I need? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/crazy.gif
 
Sounds to me like you still have a short !
The diagram I have shows that fuse also carries several other things, like the cigar lighter; courtesy lamps; boot lamp; seat belt module; 4-way flashers; and "flash to pass".

Don't know for sure, but I would guess that the original fuse was around 35 amps in the Lucas rating system, which means a 20 amp American fuse should carry the load. If an American 30 amp blew, (especially without any of those things turned on) there must be a short somewhere.
 
It was the stupid cigarette lighter. I disconnected it and no more letting the smoke out of fuses!

Thanks TR3Driver. When you said the cigarette lighter I remember the previous owner telling me it was bad.
