TR4/4A Furflex installation details

I need some help regarding the furflex door surrounds, particularly in the order of operations and finishing. I am using the original style setup with the seal running in the metal channel and the furflex around the door opening. Unfortunately, all of this stiff was missing from my car and I can't find a lot of reference to how it is installed. I have already put the rubber seals in the channels. So here are my questions:

1. It appears that I need to install the vinyl along the B pillar as well as the triangle at the base of the B pillar prior to the furflex. I am also guessing that the rocker panel carpet goes in beforehand too?
2. Do the outer kick panel carpets (ahead of the A pillar) go in first, too?
3. How are the ends of the furflex finished? I assume the ends at the B pillar are just cut off and capped by the chrome surround, but how about the front? Where exactly is the cut? At the base of the windshield frame? Pictures would be very helpful.

Thanks to anyone who can assist.

Further, can someone verify that the triangle goes over the rocker carpet? It seems to make more sense that way. Don't worry, I have all-new vinyl and triangles, I'm just using the old stuff to mock things up.

Sorry, my photos ended up sideways. The left picture shows the top of the B pillar to the left and the right picture shows the top of the windshield to the left side also.
I restored my entire interior last summer. Yes the panels aft of the B pillar, the B pillar base triangle and rocker panel carpet all needed to be installed prior to installing the furflex. I installed the side kick panels after installing the furflex so I could get the furflex on tight and then get the panels tight up against the furflex.

Nothing special about the ends since the back end is covered by the rear capping and the front is covered by the windshield capping. Yes the furflex runs continuously from the top of the B post to the top of the windshield. I did not cut the furflex prior to installing it and as I recall I used a pair of tin snipes to cut it. I would test cut a short piece of furflex before installing so you can see how it cuts.

I also had to stick a 1/4 inch screw driver in the furflex slot close to the one end to spread it apart just slightly to get it started. Then I used the palm of my hand and a rubber mallet working my way around the door opening from the back to front, but I guess it wouldn't matter which way you go if you have both the rear and windshield capping off.

Here are a few pictures. My reds look like different shade because the flash reflects off the different materials differently, but to the eye they are not.

Thank you so much for the pics! I had assumed the furflex stopped at the base of the windshield, glad I asked. Could you also take a photo of the bottom of your B pillar so I can see the interface between the furflex, triangle, interior panel and rocker carpet?

See if this helps:

Do sometimes feel like you're working a jigsaw puzzle w/o the box lid?

Thanks, just what I was looking for! The jigsaw puzzle is an excellent analogy - so much stuff was removed or modified over the last 53 years it's hard to know what it's supposed to look like.
