Well, Wal-Mart has come to Scotland, buying up a local retailler (ASDA), but I hope they don't import their customers, too... or some of those anyway....

We have a Wal-Mart here in Edgewood and I'm very glad we do! The people who shop there are pretty much everyone in town at one time or another. And for what it's worth, I've seen equally outrageous looking people walking around the major malls in Albuquerque. The people I see at our Wal-Mart or just average, ordinary people - friends and neighbors.

They say that Sam Walton used to don his overalls and drive his pick up over to the Wal Mart in Springdale and park in the lot to watch people come and go. I wonder if any of those characters entertained him.
