Funky fuel gauge

Hey folks,

Recently my fuel gauge has gone a little funky on my 92 XJ6. It seems that one time it will function fine then the next it slowly goes towards empty. I know I'm not going through that much gas...........lol Right before I bought the car the gas pump was replaced. Could the wiring be loose?

Thanks,
Keef

Keef, I doubt very much if it's the gage, check the sending unit electrical connections, but it's also possible the unit could be on it's way out. Just a suggestion. PJ
