MGB Fun while it lasted - for sale 74 MGB

I have a wonderful four-month-old daughter. Not uncoincidentally, I have a very nice 1974 B (citron color) for sale, $6,000 obo. Sometimes you just have to be practical.

As I mentioned, it's a 1974, citron color (yellow-green), 106K miles. I've owned it for two years and used it as my everyday car during that time. It was in good shape when I got it and is probably a little better off now.

I live in Falls Church, Virginia, just outside Washington, DC. I think I have attached a photo or two. If not I can e-mail some to you...

For details, e-mail me at kurt_larrick@yahoo.com.

I'm sorry to hear that you must sell your MG, but happy to hear that you have the joy of a wonderful daughter. I wish I could help you out, but I have a four year old daughter and a 1975 MGB.

You might want to try these guy. They've a good classified section, and they are close to you.

Good luck!

I'd sell my dot before I sold my B. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

Oh wait, my dot's 25 and a doctor, suppose I should keep her, right?

We did (hubby did, that is) have a '52 Chevy step side, 5 window - customized into a street rod that was a sweet ride. Sold it to pay for Sarah's first year of undergrad, so I do understand where you're coming from.

Hey, I got it. I'll keep your B for you for the next 22 years and take good care of it, give it back when your dot graduates college. Deal?

Congrats on your daughter. I'm facing a similar dilema. It's kinda funny all of us in MG-dom face the same decisions over time. I've got a B and a vette with a 12 year old, 2 year old and another one on the way. I think I'm going to have to make a change with one of the cars as well. I haven't decided yet which one.
Good Luck on your sale. I second the idea of putting on the MG Car Club of Washington D.C. They have a pretty active site and update it frequently.
