A little reprive from the mundane today. My boss got his Cobra replica back on the road after Roush racing reworked his engine, so it needed an inspection. livened up the morning a bit. and then, when I got back from lunch, there was a 1957 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud waiting for me to inspect it too. got to fiddle with a few other things on it while it was there as well. just a bit of fun
The back seats of those things are THE most comfortable seats ever put in an automobile! Oh Yea!!!
I'll post pics if I can figure out how to get them off my phone.

That Rollie is quite a boat, Ben! Beware the brake system...

Speaking of rolls at work... Part of my job on Saturday was throwing dinner rolls at two guys. My arm was pretty sore for a couple days, but we got some good hits to the foreheads.

Ya got one 'long-distance' hit just now, too Greg.

Hand slap to th' forehead, morelike.

The job of choice..

yea Doc... there's quite the setup of rods and levers coming off the master cylinder. Fortunatly all I messed with were fuel lines, the non functional horns (they were a quart low on beep) and adjusted the start safety switch on the shift lever.
Classy ride even with the rockers full of bondo...

I drove a friend's 58 Silver Cloud to a charity event once. I felt like I was driving a 3/4 ton pick-up. Thing was so stiff and shifted HARD. Mind you this car belongs to one of the leading Silver Cloud technical advisors for the RROC so the car was not a rot box or set up wrong. I expected a much softer, smoother ride. Crossed Silver Clouds off my bucket list after that.

or frozen.

I hope they were stale, hard rolls, at least....
No, we bought dozens of fresh, soft rolls. Turned out that was a good thing. One of the guys we were throwing them at was about 4" taller and 80 lbs. heavier that me. Oh, and he was paid more to get hit than I was to throw.

Batter up!

I want to believe there were video cameras in attendance.

Soooo... POST PROOF OR RETRACT!!!

Better than that, digital motion picture cameras. I can't get my hands on that footage though. Would be the end o my career posting that.

...rats... :frown:
