Fuel Tank.

Then that would be the same as lining your old one. YOU might as well have saved the money. I had the same thoughts w/ my new one, so I just figured I'd wait till this one got bad (which it never will cause I drive it all the time.) and do it then if need be. Just put 'er in. That one lasted 30 years so I think you'll be o.k.

You'd better hurry up as the BR bunch is gettin' together tommorrow. That's if you're goin'.

The get together has been cancelled,I was giving it a miss so that I could fit the tank to the Midget.
I was only wondering what others thought,as you say,the tanks do last quite some time.

Stuart.

Install it, fill it, enjoy.

Will last your life time.

That and I don't know what they put in new tanks to keep them from rusting durring storage. Rememeber that brown grease like stuff on the outside of the tank when you pulled it from the box? It might be in the tank and liner won't like that. Slosh gas around in it for a few years to get that stuff lose. The easiest way is when it's bolted into the car and driven down the road. :jester:

Speaking of which, you should be sloshin' it around right now. :driving:

I've been at it hard lately, but I'm sure there's still some left down there.
