I see the cost of a replacement aluminium fuel tank is not much more than the original steel. I guess you save a bit on weight and no rust. But are there any other advantages/disadvantages of ali over steel?

Well"
The electrical conductivity of steel is higher than Aluminum and while aluminum oxidizes ,aluminum oxide is not conductive ??
Consequently, some grounding circuit concerns could arise over time.
