fuel tank 1975 midget

is there any other fuel tanks that will fit a 1975 midget except the ones made for it.
 
not that I know of, but you could install a fuel cell?
 
If you want a replacement, I ordered one for my 1979 from Victoria British. The whole kit with everything was about $300
 
Watch ebay. I got a pretty good deal on a tank that was made nice and came with all the hardware, except I had to drill it for a vent. I had to replace the sender as well. I spent about 200 on the whole setup.

Looking back at the job, I considered going to a GM style fuel sender and gauge and I wished I would have.
