Fuel System

Can someone tell me.
Arn't the fule tank's supposed to be on a switched button?
I have searched the wires and I can find no sign of a jumper wire anywhere, the thing feeds from both tanks at the same time, I want to use one at a time. The button works and the change over valve seems to be working? Is there a trick someone did that I'm not aware of? Please help.

Re: Fuel System

The fuel distribution system is dependent on the input selection solenoid valve,(right or left tank) in the trunk floor near the fuel pump and also the return solenoid valves from the fuel rail that are located in each rear wheel well (behind mud splash guards near the front of the fuel tanks). Make sure that the dashboard switch that controls the input and return solenoids is also functioning properly. It sounds like one of the return solenoids is not working. If you describe the fault mode that is in the fuel distribution system I can further diagnose your problem.
