Our local car show is coming up soon, so thought I would get the BJ8 out and have it ready for the show. Its been sitting for about 5 months now, I put stabilizer in the gas before I put it up. Figured best thing was to replace gas before I crank it up. Connected long hose from carbs to gas bottle. Powered up the pump. It goes tick ....tick....tick. New pump, new lines. Pull the line off the pump going to the carbs and blow air though the line. Out comes several varnish globs, hook everything back up and now the pump goes tick, tick like it should. Guess I am going to drain gas out of any of my cars that I let sit for a while. What a pain!
