Hi Guys
I've not posted for a while (a long while.. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif), but I had a problem with my BJ7 Healey while out driving this weekend.
The Fuel Pump (Standard SU with points), packed up on me and I didn't have a spare with me so I had to call out the Breakdown Service to get me home.
The Guy who turned up told me that since the advent of unleaded fuel they were having an increasing number of problems with fuel pumps on cars designed to run on leaded fuel. He went on to say they the pump should be changed every three years as the unleaded fuel destroys the pump.
I've not heard this one before.....Any comments?
Regards
Alan
