Fuel pump

Fun on the way to the Woodland all British car show last weekend. The fuel pump went out 5 or 6 times on the way there. Banged it and removed the wheel and hammered it twice. Got to the motel and replaced it with my spare that I had professionally rebuilt. The one that failed gave no warning. It was only two years old. The replaced one (now on the car) is original to the car. I now filed the points on the defective one and it works well (I hope)and will now be stored under the battery for future use.
We enjoyed the show. Roger (Asumhly) was selling parts instead of showing his beauty. He had some good stuff and I hope he made some money. I didn't see other Forum members.
