Fuel pump identification?

As known by all, DPO Pedro's fuel died and stranded me 30
miles from home. I replaced it on the shoulder of a busy
highway with a brand new Moss pump I carried in the trunk
for emergency replacement.

DPO Pedro's pump fittings were metric and cross threaded the
Moss pump. blah, blah, blah >>>>>>Moss, made in India pump
defective and recalled- no replacement pumps available.

DavidK has kindly sent to me a functioning Triumph fuel pump
while DNK has forwarded an electric pump as backup and
spare.

Now, looking at all three pumps, DPO Pedro's pump stands out
like a sore thumb. Not only are the fitting threads metric
but the entire pump seems in miniature compared with the
other two.

I am curious by nature. Anyone have any idea what is this
very small pump DPO Pedro had installed? Like for what make
of car was it manufactured intended ? No country of origin
is stamped on the small pump. Just curious, that's all.

I hope to install DavidK's pump next week and then drive the
Beast once DNK's spare arrives. Here's so photos.

Thanks,

D

Spitfire's fuel pumps had metric threads?

But real interesting- one of my existing fuel pump
mounting nuts is a 1/2" American while the other
is 13 mm metric. Totally weird.

Check the threads on the studs. Pedro may have struck again.

No, Dale, Spits didn't have metric threads. But I bet with enough force, Pedro could have cranked metric fittings in there.

Ahhh, once again, another subtle touch of Pedro, British Car Restorer Extraordinare, is entering the BCF arena.

I have three fuel pumps for my TR6 all unique.
1) Original AC type pump with hand primer similar to the Moss unit pictured above.
2) New aftermarket pump w/o hand primer, made in Canada similar to DavidK pump pictured above.
3) New aftermarket pump with hand primer but looks like a miniature version of pump 1.
