Fuel Line Routing

Hi fellow enthusiasts,

I am fitting a new fuel line from the pump to the carbs in a BJ7. Unfortunately, I cannot remember how this line is supposed to run in the engine bay.

Does anyone have some pictures perhaps? Especially the clip positions puzzle me. I know where the line has to end just under the flasher relay, but the rest I am not sure.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Walter

It runs along the inside of the left main frame rail (low). The brake line is on the other frame rail. It bends up at the engine mount - there should be a hole for a clip in the mount.

I assume you are talking about a RHD car? I am pretty sure it was on the same side as the brake line on my LHD Healey. I am just not sure if it was on the side or on the bottom of the frame.

LHD, but I have more experience with the 3000 roadsters.

The fuel line runs along the chassis rail on the rhs in both lhd and rhd cars. I can supply more pics of the fuel line if you require them.

Greg
