I don't know if I'd want the fuel injection setup. I'd much rather try to diagnose a fuel issue with a set of SUs than EFI anyday.

But hat isn’t really the point of this EFI kit. While many of us would prefer to ditch the single Zenith Stromberg setup in favor of a set of SUs (myself included) we can’t because of local emissions laws in certain States (like tree hugging Kalifiornia) where we need to abide by the strict smog laws or are left with either moving to another emissions friendly state where our cars would be exempt from testing or simply put NOT registering & driving our cars.
The Moss EFI kit featured in this specimen is significant in that it is one of the three test mules used by Moss to develop the EFI kit that is (and this is key) Emissions legal having already received it’s CARB certification.
The other beauty of EFI is that it is a lot easier to work on than a standard carburetor (certainly the ZS) setup and makes for a more reliable & drivable MGB. According to Moss’s press thus far – their kit is a set & forget type of setup. No more choke issues or having to tinker, tune & adjust prior to going in for an emissions test. Best of all you spend a heck of a lot more time behind the wheel than you do under the bonnet.
And as we all know driving is a good thing! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif
