Fuel for 1500

Peeeot,
I've got a 276 street cam adjustable timing sprocket, a
custom made(locally) stainless header, roller rockers.
Almost anything I could think of to get "enough" hp without
going so extreme as to not make it idle like a thresher.
I also am installing a 5-speed conversion to make it more
X-way friendly. I am also installing a stainless exhaust.
I still havn't found a 5-speed kit that I'm happy with yet,
some require cutting and I'm not to tickled about cutting
on it. I don't want to compromise the structural stability
of the unibody. I've been a maintenance machinist some 30
years and in cases like that less is always best. Some one
told me that a Datsun 210 tranny would work but someone else
said no. So I'm still researching. I will find one. If
anyone else knows a surefire good fit, Please let me know.
Rick
