fuel filter location

I actually replaced the tank at the same time as the fuel pump. The old one had gas that poured like syrup. I suppose I should check the line between the tank and the pump right?
Is it possible that an air leak is causing this?

Yes it is. Air is easier to "pump" than gas. Check all connections. Try removing the cap and introducing (low pressure)air to the supply line? Should hear "bubbles" from the tank. With a "suitable vessel" at the pump supply hose do the same at the filler, should have gas FLYIN' out of the hose. ~applicable gasoline warning here~. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I had a bad seal connecting to the tank. I reconnected and it works fine.
