Antarctica Frozen Wave Pixs - Nature is amazing!

The water froze the instant the wave broke through the

ice. That's what it is like in Antarctica where it is the

coldest weather in decades. Water freezes the instant

it comes in contact with the air. The temperature of the

water is already some degrees below freezing.

Just look at how the wave froze in mid-air!!!

A bit of cool breeze for the hot summer months!

enjoy,

Not quite FALSE, either!!

All True, non-shopped photos
True antarctic location
True south polar scientific expedition

True, someone doctored the text a bit (fooled me)
but the photos are none-the-less dramatic. Actually,
I find the scientific reasons even more interesting.

Let's be fair to the viewers. Here's a bunch more
photos from the anarctic study. All true!!

:yesnod:

Real photos of neat-looking ice formations, untrue description. As the Snopes page notes, these formations were caused more by melting than freezing. Still very cool.

Kind of like when snow melts on the road then re-freezes to form that nasty thick ice that those of us who have lived in the norther latitudes came to know and love.

This is more like freezing waves.
