Front wiring done

Got home from dinner out earlier than I thought, so I put on the old grungies and out the garage I went. Got the control box, generator, coil, headlight dip switch, and bonnet wiring done. I'm waiting still on new rubber gaskets for the turn signal lamps, but for the most part the front of the car is wired. No time now until Sunday, but plan is to have all wires in place and tested by Sunday night, so on Monday when parts arrive I can put in the lights and finish testing. Lots of time next week, so it will be a big Bugeye week. Hope to be driving (weather permitting) by the following weekend!

Go, go, go. Tell me all about it, I got a long way to go yet.

I had the advantage of buying an already-running car. I'm pushing pretty hard to get this done quickly, because I want to get the car registered and the title transfered. Once that has been done, I'll be able to slow down and start the work on sorting out the car and finding all the weak spots.

Bugeye, weak spot. Now just a minute, what makes you think there are weak spots. Well unless rust has gone unchecked.

Otherwise, beep beep, Bugeye comming through.

I've only found a couple small rust spots so far, but I haven't been over every inch of the car yet. I don't expect to find any others, but I'll feel better once I've seen the whole car. Mostly I'll be starting the sorting-out process. The car really hasn't been driven much in quite a while, so I'm expecting to have some issues here and there until I've been through everything.
