Front Valance / Front Spoiler

Today I took lots of stuff off the car. Rear bumper, lights, trim.. almost stripped on the outside. (Wasn't going to go that far /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif ) The front valance is a mess as it is bent, wharped and I had to cut it off on the outside ends since the screws wouldn't budge.
I was thinking of putting a spoiler on the front when I am done, as I have seen a few I really like, although I haven't seen a GT with one installed. Pic anyone?
If I put a spoiler on, do I have to also install a replacement valance? I can't see why, but thought I would pick the experts brains.

Thanks

Paul

The LE spoiler fits on top of the steel valance

Speaking of, I want to paint Emma's. It's red, rather sticks out conspicuously under the black bumper. Black satin rattlecan and lots of tape and plastic?

Yep!

The RB GT? Go with a LE spoiler if you get one. And yes, it screws right onto a stock valence panel. The other one, ST spoiler, is a seperate fiberglass piece that replaces the valence... But it'll have to be adjusted and cut on to make it fit.

I have an LE spoiler on my rubber bumper GT...man it looks great!

So, I will have to put the other valance back on as well when I put on the LE spoiler? I suppose I could hammer it back to shape. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif

Yep, the metal valence has to be there to hold the plastic LE spoiler.

Can you post a Pic. Tony. Can't find it on your site

hmmm

now that I have an almost perfect RB GT sitting around, I will just drop a motor and tranny, and get an LE spoiler, and a couple of wheels from you Tony, and I will drive the heck out of it while Basil v1.5 is in its restoration stage.

The LE spoiler will look great.....I've got one for all my B's (one isn't installed yet) but it really adds a nice touch to the front....Almost looks like it's missing something without it.

Zack - just leem know what you need...I'm placing a $2000+ order to Moss Monday!
