Does anybody know what the free standing heigth of the springs should be on a MK 3 spitfire. I have mine standing on the bench and the measure 13". This seems to be too tall to me. Do I have some kind of strange aftermarket springs in there?
 
I have new springs ready to install and mine are 11-1/2" tall with 8 loops counting the top and bottom loops. I too would like to know the correct height. I had planned to take mine to TRF to verify that mine are the right ones. Hopefully someone can give the proper loop count and height for the original spec.

Thanks Andy. Sounds like I am in the ball park then. This is why a person has to love the BCF.
