I need to change the front springs on my 100-6. I've done the same job on my frogeye dropping and re-raising the pans using long threaded bolts - anyone know any reasion I can't do the same on the bnig one? Also - any advice about which spring rating to go for? (car is in standard trim).

many thanks and Happy Healeying from the UK /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Yes - you can do it the same way. Only two diagonally located bolts need to be long. You can use four if you wish. No advice on the spring rate. It is pretty much a matter of personal preference. Check with one of your local UK suppliers such as AH Spares, or Denis Welch.

Many thanks for your advice - Denis Welch has recommended standard BJ8 which he has sent me along with two X 3/8 in bolts in 5 inch length! Will report on any wiggles I encounter.

Thanks again
