Front Shroud for 100

[how rare is it to find] a decent shroud/valance for a 100-4. mine is in rough shape with some significant "repairs" (hack job more accurately) already attempted, and a fair amount of bondo. It is probably salvageable but would take a good aluminum guy a lot of hours to fix. I have a line on another one that looks a bit better than mine, but still not as good as i would like.
to be honest, im kinda intimidated by the front shroud repairs and admit that maybe im looking for something that just doesn't exist in the shape i want it in, but when Moss wants $3300 for a front repair panel... im not sure whats worse, the repairs and subsiquent costs or the new panel and subsiquent costs!

is it possible to find a front shroud in good shape for a 100-4, or is that somewhat of a pipe dream? Or is this one below a good example of on that IS in good shape? here is a few pics of the one im looking at, which is in better shape than mine. Putzke has it...

Since the body panels were originally hand fitted by selecting best fit from piles of parts with varying dimensions, there is no guarantee that a "standard" replacement shroud will fit your particular car. Even the bonnet opening dimensions varied. It's a hard call to make but if at all possible, repairing the original shroud may ensure the best fit. It's really a bummer if you have to cut & fit a "new" replacement shroud.

HI Timbn2, If the last two pics are of the one Putzke has it looks totally fixable to me if you have access to a good aluminum repair man. Fitting it back on the car should not take much additional work although it will require some. It is gonna take a few bucks one way or the other, but I think the best results will be achieved using the best part attainable for the lowest cost.---Keoke
