Front Park Turn Lamps 66 Sprite

Hello,
My week of vacation is almost over, been busy doing yard mtc. I have made some progress. Fenders on, sway bar installed and many little items found and installed. Just found the front park turn lamps, they are in bad shape. The lens are ok and the chrome ring is ok , the lamp body is rusted. VB and Moss show them as NA. Any ideas as where I can get two new ones or what is a good substitute. Going to try to patch them together for now but hoping someone has a solution.
Thanks Phil

not sure how rusted yours are, but mine were fairly well rusted. I wire-brushed the heck out of them, cleaned them off w/solvent then painted the front with a gun-metal like finish, while covering the bulb area. Don't want to paint the back since you want the ground when you bolt it on. I actually ran individual ground leads to each marker to make sure I have good ground. Don't know if your going for greatness or want a driver, but you can't see what's under the lenses!

best of luck - Drew

I was at Pauls week before last and he has NEW front lamps. Base Bezel and Lens. I could have really hurt my budget at his place. He had new chrome for just about every part of a Spridget.Call 270-825-2994 e-mail bmcltd@spis.net for more info, or to order parts .

Thanks I sent him a email, waiting for a reply, where is he located.

Phil

He is in Madisonville, KY

Hi Drew,
I spent a few hours today and did a temporary rebuild. I soldered a ground wire onto the bulb holder case. Going out to the garage to see if they will work. Thanks for your help
Phil

Trevor your fast.
I will give him a call Monday. Off to the garage, now that all the family jobs are done. Monday is my last day of vacation, hoping to get a little more done
