I know I've seen this here before, but I can't find it with the search tool. What is the proper resting height between the shock absorber flange and the tower?

Thanks,
Randy

The generally accepted ride height is 27", measured from ground to center of the wheel openings, all four corners. Late BJ8's 28".

This would likely give about 1 1/2" from bottom of shock arm to top of upper rebound bumper.
