What haave I done wrong? Replaced all bushings, springs (stiffer), & shocks with parts from Goodparts. I have everything back together & spindles do not move forward & back without forceing them. The frame is bare & sitting on jack stands. Shouldn't they move?
 
They aren't free unless you release some of the pressure on the springs with a jack. I have a friend who just went through this. Same panic. Same resolution...
 
I agree, you won't see much movement until the weight is back on the suspension.

Also, did you tighten up all the nuts and bolts? Many of the ones at the bushings are to be left somewhat loose until the car is back on it's own weight (maybe up on rams so you can access the bolts to tighten), and then tightened to a correct and often very little torque.
