Regarding my 61 BT7; Are there supposed to be any drain holes through the underside of my front crossmember? If so, where and what size?

Elrey, I do not remember if they were there or not. However, i would suggest three holes with a diameter of 3/8" located at the rear of the member. One in each corner and one in the middle

It seemed to me to be a good idea. I figured to drill them before I paint. Three aught to keep things fresh, thanks

Most people drill a few holes in the frame rails and outriggrs to spray some kind of rust preventative inside. I then closed mine up except for in the rear as Keoke mentions.
