TR2/3/3A front carb bellcrank

I have all new rod ends in my throttle linkage,but some slop in the bellcrank bushing and pin.This allows the linkage to **** or twist a little before moving the vertical rod.I see Moss lists as NLA.
Does anyone remake these or has anyone rebushed thiers or were they a little sloppy when new?

Yup, Basil is kind of sensitive about words that can sometimes be used to refer to certain non-appropriate items. Perhaps 'tilt' would be a better word here :smile:

Anyway, yes, I reamed out my bellcrank and fitting a bushing made from some thinwall brass tubing (local hobby store). It helped a lot. The pin was pretty badly worn as well, but I had a spare from another car that was in better shape.

Thanks,His name seems to come up often as a go-to carb guy,but the repair is done.
I drilled a .375 hole in the 1/2" steel boss,which came out about .400,then machined down the o.d. of a 5/16x1/2"o.d. bushing for a press fit.
$3 for the bushing and about 1/2 hour time.No more slop.
