Shortly after a British Airways flight had reached its cruising altitude, the Captain announced:

'Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Captain. Welcome to Flight 293, non-stop from London Heathrow to Toronto. The weather ahead is good, so we should have a smooth, uneventful flight. So sit back,relax and..... OH, MY GOD !'

Silence followed!

Some moments later the Captain came back on the PA;
'Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sorry if I scared you . While I was talking to you, a flight attendant accidentally spilled a cup of hot coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!'

One old passenger yelled, "and you should see the back of mine!"

Reminds me of the time I was flying into San Fran. and there was an airline pilot sitting about 3 rows in front of me. As we came over the water (as is SF) he started to mumble "he's coming in too high"... which started to get louder as he was repeating it! Everyone around started to get rather nervous. As he was starting to nearly shouting it, suddenly, the plane throttled up and we zoomed upward to make a new circular path to try again. The guy right. Don't know if anyone "soiled" themselves, but I might not be surprised.
