Hi everyone,
I've owned 3 midgets now, and have driven one since 1975. My first car was a '66, my second was a 1275 '74, and now I own an electric '77 midget. I had 198,000 miles on my '74 gas midget which I just sold 3 weeks ago. My electric '77 is now my daily driver. I've always thought a midget would make a great electric car because it is small and light, and fun to drive. I'm trying to spread the word to other MG owners, that if they've considered converting the Mg's to electric, that it can be done succesfully with today's technology. I'm not pushing green here, I just always thought it would be cool to drive an electric car. I have a web site up and running, where I explain some of the details, along with the costs, and what performance one can expect to achieve with an electric midget. (70 mile range at 55 mph) I'll be happy to answer any questions people have about the project, so please feel free to ask. I'd like to start a general forum thread on the subject if the moderator doesn't mind.
