Are you tired of those sissy friendship poems that always
sound good but never come close to reality? Well here is a
series of promises that actually speak of true friendship:

1. When you are sad - I will help you get drunk and plot
revenge against the sorry bastard that made you sad

2. When you are blue - I will try to dislodge whatever is
choking you

3. When you smile - I know you are plotting somthing that I
must be involved in

4. When you are worried - I will tell you horrible stories
about how much worse it could be until you quit whining

5. When you are confused - I will use little words

6. When you are sick - Stay the heck away from me until you
are well again. I DONT WANT WHATEVER YOU HAVE

7. When you are scared - I will rag on you about it every
chance I get

8. When you fall - I will point and laugh at your clumsy
butt

9. This is my oath, I will pledge it to the end. Why you
ask? BECAUSE YOUR MY FRIEND

Or as Mrs. Webb, my eighth grade English teacher, would have admonished:

"On number nine you have a typo, it should be 'you're', not 'your'."

Or, as more commonly seen amongst the youth of today.

Because U R my friend....

Semi-colons... a vanishing species of punctuation!

Actually, it's not a <span style="font-weight: bold">typo</span>. It's a <span style="font-weight: bold">grammatical mistake</span>.

No, no, no. It's not a 'typo', it's a 'typographical error' that's a grammatical error.

OH my!!! THIS post has opened enough worms cans Dale would have enough bait for a LOOOONG time!!!

LoL If you're opening a can of worms, whatever WAS in there was probably put there by your great, great, great, GREAT Grandmother!! And the seal leaked! As for skinning a cat, the fur is warm, the guts make good laces and the rest goes in the stew kettle! <Ok, I am gonna stop now.... >

...and that would be (capital 'E' ) Engish as in the language, not ( lower case 'e' ) english as in the spin given to a propelled ball by striking it on one side or releasing it with a sharp twist...surely.

I've never understood why anyone would can worms in the first place... :nonod:

It's not unlike wondering why anyone would want to skin a cat, let alone do so in a variety of different ways....

When fishing, it is handy to have a can full of worms for bait!
