Hi There all, thanks for allowing me to your wonderful community.... I grew up around classic cars. My mothers first car was a Mini 850 and later a 1275 Clubman, as they were called in South Africa. My Dad was a very talented Volvo restorer and engine builder. From there my love for classics. My very first drive however was a beautifully restored Morris Minor 1000, 4 door. So many memories. At this time however I am also knee deep in to Volvo and SU carb restorations. The British, BMC, motor and sports motor cars and Volvo share so much in tech that loving one is loving both......

Looking forward to your chats.........

Welcome to BCF! I wish I had a beautifully restored MM 1000, but if I keep working on 1957 Traveller, maybe it'll eventually become "beautifully restored". One can hope anyway.

Also admire the Volvo photo. My dream was a Volvo p1800 - but that remains a dream. A man's grasp ... etc.

Good to have an SU specialist with us!

That looks just like the one I had back in the 70s, same color and all. Neat little car. (y)
