I have a Triumph differential gear carrier. It spun a bearing so has to be fixed by a machine shop. Any competent machine shop can weld a shim and turn it to the correct size to accept a new bearing. All the other items in the carrier are OK.
I tried this on eBay a couple of times and no interest. As I said in the title it is free to a good home. I do ask that you pay the shipping charge, or you could, pick it up. If your interested, PM or email me your address and I will give you a shipping cost.
It weighs 14lbs 6oz, without packaging.

If you can't find a taker, look for a local metal sculpter. They love stuff like this.

What a shame it looked like it would have been a great stand for a mailbox post. It's good it went to a good home.
 
I plan to live to about 128 years of age, and I also plan to drive my TR every time I can. So for the sake of long-timers like myself, I'd like to think our parts won't be cut up and left for dead, made into paper-weights, etc. I know it's a just a hobby, and that Rimmer Bros has a whole yard of dead diffs, but they won't on my 100th Birthday.
 
YEA, KVH! I feel the same way. They just don't make these parts anymore.
