I have a 78 Spitfire, I am looking for a replacement frame. I have found one relatively close, but its listed for 79-80.
Will this still work for me? Will there be any modifications I'll need to make?
 
I strongly suspect that they're the same, except possibly more reinforcement for bumpers? You may try a few of the Spit parts sources, the parts catalogs # would be the same if there were no changes, 78 to 79.
